I am having a professional fibre-glasser make up an A-pillar mould for 2 gauges (2 inch). This is not like the greddy ones that go over the top of your current plastic mould and only reach to the roof. This one will completly replace your current factory mould and will reach all the way to the B-pillar. Currently you can not purchase anything of this type.

They will be sprayed in black to match the stock interior.

All I need is 4 buyers to get the ball rolling. The more buyers, the cheaper it gets.

4 buyers = $120ea.

8 buyers = $100ea.

12 buyers = $90ea.

email me for more info. [email protected]

I take it this is for R33 only?? How big are the pods, will they hold 60mm Guages, as 52mm guages (2") look a little small on teh pillar if you used to 60mm..

Might be interested if it can be done for R32 GTR. Guage positions similar to GReddy units would be good.

These are 52mm size.

Yeah these are just for the r33. But if atleast 4 ppl are interested in one for a r32 then I can get them made up as well, same prices, no probs.

Yorik, if you just want one made up for yourself then it will be $170 upfront. Still thats an excellent price as the greaddy ones cost about this but are only designed to go over the top of your original a pillar.

Are they legal?

I have a Rocket pod mount for a guage on my pillar, I have it stuck on with adhesive tape because I have to pull it off every year for rego (Its above and forward of the wheel, its dangerous, etc). Is it different if its one whole piece?

pity theres no a pillar pods for the lowest part of the a pillar to fit a 2 1-8 or whateva size they are, cause im not butchering my dashboard for a boost guage ;/ and without thinking of the size thats suitable, i kinda baught an overly large one ;//// double whammy, unable to use unless i put it on the a pillar lowest section, and have 2 normal 52-60 mm guages for the rest of the pillar...

if anyone has any ideas, let me know cause ive run fresh out of places to put the damn thing, and i kinda would be handy to have cause i think somewhere the beast aint boostin right, and i got no way of checking at the time....

Just put a guage thru the window and sit it on the dash in a towel temporarily. Dont mount it if you dont want to. Alternatly put it in the glovebox so you can see it when its open :D

i guess there will be no pics until done?
No pics until done sorry. Dut it's pretty obvious what it'll look like.

Below pictured is kind of what it will look like, except that it will be completly flush, not just put on over the top.

can u make them for 60 mm.
Sure can, once the master is made, it will be very easy to be remoulded to suit 60mm guages.

hey dude, hows about with that same dude, maybe make a 2 1/8 single pod up :P

cause i need my damn bosot gauge on the pillar but low as hell between the door and the dash... [where the side mirror handle usually is, but thank god for power mirrors :DDD] its the only place i can think that it wont be a defectable thing [aslong as it faces towards the driver... not flat so otehr drivers can be distracted by it.... any ideas on how i can get about doing this or getting it done... ?

its an autogage boost guage... vac/psi one :D

id be interested in getting one for an r32 gtst if there is more ppl keen.  will they fit the 2 1/16th inch guages?  if you cant get more than just me how much is it to make one?

Well I don't think I'm getting enough interest for this to go ahead. I will probably still get one made for my car at the cost of 170. I should be able to do the same for you if your keen.

    • Hey guys. I have a 400R on its way to Australia from Japan currently and have a few questions I’m hoping others may be able to help with.   Wondering if anyone here has had any luck getting the Sat nav unit to work in Australia!? Assuming the Stereo is as simple as a band expanded and tv won’t work?  Seeing as they’re based off a Q50 which is Aus delivered is there any way to link that system to the nav? Nav modules and head unit are different part numbers and appear slightly different at the rear with plug ins etc. can I put my xtrail sd card into the rv37 and will that convert the maps or update to Australian? Has anyone got any advice here?     also has anyone fitted the factory remote start and Security system once it’s landed in Australia? I put an enquirey to Nissan Japan in via a third party, and they suggested it needs a Nissan Japan dealers device to setup and couldn’t guarantee if one here could do it or not. They can supply and I can physically fit it but to setup I would need a dealers device. Any information here would be appreciated also. I’ve seen one here with it fitted already prior to leaving Japan at a dealer/inporter, so clearly passes compliance and works when fitted Japan and doesn’t need changing here.      also, does the tyre inflation sensors work here? Does anything change with them when the vehicle arrives? Where are they actually situated? I’ve read they have batteries and they need to changing at times and seems like resetting involves the nav system?    any help here would be appreciated and any other aust specific information to help would be great. Looking forward to see what the current generation skyline is like and eager to see how many of the gadgets can be utilised here.  Thanks in advance
    • Do need to take it with a pinch of salt. One of the adapter failures, they clearly had setup issues with the flywheel.  One of the slipping ones I spoke to and it was pretty clear the throwout was riding, rather than fix, just swapped to a new clutch.    These clutches are being put in anything from 5k offroad 4x4 beaters, GR yaris, 500hp commodores to 1200hp barra monsters. Bound to be some issues in some of them when they are not a simple bolt in affair due to the changes in height.    There is a lot going on in this picture and unless I did the job myself no way to tell what really happened.
    • I did this mod in 2019  You just have to modify the top bracket of the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU so it sits more upright and closer to the back seat and run a good quality positive battery lead from the engine bay, the negative lead i just bolted down to the body in the boot.
    • Damn... Not the feedback I want to hear.
