Guest
NIZMO Say, The Price does not include freight, insurance fee, and all other registration fee that may arise due to export to countries outside of Japan. Import Licensing and All Other Legislative Obligations to Export: Must be carried by the Importer. It is the list price on Nizmo's site, not what the real world pay for it, in America the C6 Vette is $15,000 US over list and the 2005 Mustang is $3,000 to $5,000 over as well. Their is also the reason it is hard enough to get hold of these cars, for some of the countrys an emission test has to be preformed prior to shipment. It isnt that simple to export or import new cars, only Ralliart do it at the moment here. LBR33
So if i buy that car will you pay for freight, insurance fee, and all other registration fee that may arise due to export to countries outside of Japan. Compliance is 5k at the most. Emmision tests dont need to be peformed in Aus. funkymonkey
nigel... this car isn't a factory released car, its a used car as far as DOTARs are concerned (esp since it has up to 30,000k's on the odo). Its not stock standard, and it has carbon fibre doors. You'd need side impact data as well as emissions data to qualify under SEVs. That's wierd though, surely there must be an exception rule for limited edition or one of a kind cars. If not... who wants to be the first to crush an R34 Z-Tune? If you can get a Standard R34 GTR complyied for $5,000 you are doing well and I wont go into the rest. someonestolecc
heh. well I wish I was insanely rich so I COULD. After reading about the car I don't think I would, instead I'd buy a gun metal r34 and switch rego plates with it and drive it on road I'd also buy myself a rubber ducky and float it in my swimming pool in my mansion.. muwahah Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62848-2005-nissan-nismo-gtr-34-us-190000/#findComment-1184657 Share on other sites
