Apexi RSM Install -- HELP?

Okay,

Bought my blue screen (read: Riceboy-blue) Apexi RSM yesterday.

Installed it as per manual. Followed Wiring diagram A (the one WITHOUT doing the speed cut) used the correct wires from the ECU, but it only half works!

I don't get a SPEED reading, however, revs, battery, and alll that other crap works. But the thing is useless if it doesnt have a speed thing right....

has anyone here installed one ? it's as simple as splicing the wires onto the ECU right ? (there's only 4) or am I not following the right diagram ? Anyone ?

Putting the one into my 180 was simple!

Altho, i used the speed cut option, i had no dramas, try doing that.

yeh, I did the same.. tried NO speed cut, then I tried the speed cut

both don't work.

What I want to know is, is there a way (continuity) or something that I can check if the wire #53 is cut ? somewhere else ?

hahah, that's the plan.. but I don't fancy the freeway for that. I just need a straight road where noone lives... I'm thinkin out near mundijong somewhere hey

i know lotsa road for that sort of fun. Not to open to giving them out tho due to if others kill themselves on there means rest of us cant use them

when utes fixed mite take ya out some time. btw fwy south @ 2am is 1 place that is reall good for it.

i put mine in myself too, worked fine first go, shift light and all, make sure its all setup correctly in the "etc" menu, cause there are different speed settings for different cars, manual tells u which one skyline is, other than that, nothing really else can go wrong, double-check your wires to the ECU, just to make sure there all soldered good and proper...
