Input mods - Removing the pod, finally

Early next week, i'm having the pod removed, and the standard airbox put back in.

Some mods though. The normal air input is being blocked, and a ram/whatever is being installed under my front right indicator cluster (big hole there) and a decently sized pipe being run up into the bottom of the airbox, and K&N filters being added, somewhere along the line.

This will at least loosed the defectable pod, and *will* reduce input temps and hopefully improve airflow.

If anyone's interested, i'll grab loads of fics / do a faq

Great to hear.

Im sure you will get more consistant performance from your car from this mod, rather than a unsheilded pod breathing in hot air.

If my info is right, in NSW, you are only allowed 2 mods to the input side?

Aka a GTS can have a pod OR a FMIC?

i don't think that correct zebbie - although I know if it's a oiled POD then it must be in a partition due to the oil being 'flamable'
