oil and temp gauge

was wondering what the normal setting for the oil and temp gauge should be? .. my temp gauge is usually almost horizontal ... just a little less than horizontal in the downward position, i'd say about 3 degrees .... my oil gauge is the same... but sometimes fluctuates a little ... is this normal??

I have an r33 gts4.. and as for the guages, I have wondered about the oil pressure guage myself.. yes mine at idle around 1/2.. and then when i rev it it goes up.. as for temp guage, well that goes to about 1/2 way as well (after warming up of course)

I recently put in aftermarket oil pressure, water temp, air/fuel & boost gauges put in my 33gts-t. The factory gauges are very inacurate and id recommend installing some aftermarket ones if your going to mod your skyline...

i'll take ur 2 cents ...well thanks for the replies ... seems my car is ok ... well except for some reason the boost is so low so i gotta fix that .. seems to be around 3psi :eek: hehehehe so i gotta have the slowest car around
