new clutch

heya all.

getting my new clutch on wensday its a just a ordinary heavy duty,

fitted and installed for $630 (inclluding alligning the flywheel or watever)

wat im concerned about is will the heavy duty be fine?

atm my r32 is pretty much stock, but in the future im planning to give it a bit of work, hoping to bring it to about 200 or so rwkw. is this clutch fine,

like would it do the job?

or would it be better of to just get brass button, (but atm..cant afford it)

What kind of clutch is it?? as MYSTR33 said that cheap.

A single plate heavy duty clutch should be fine my mechanic said and i would take his word for it.

they quoted me, brass button supply,fitted and alligning flywheel $760, were as other places have quoted me over 1 grand

hey kangz, regarding the clutch mate, the power u want, i think it might struggle a bit..

is brass button etc?

u get wat u paid for..

but u can always upgrade the clutch later on anywayss

they should have told u how much power it can handle before u got it installed

Do NOT get a brass button clutch. I don't understand why people think these are good for the street: it is not their intended purpose. If you try and drive it like a normal clutch (slip it) you will wear it out in no time at all.

Besides which you are hardly pushing the power envelope.

I have driven my brothers 180 with 1 heaps of times, 5 puck button clutch = crap in traffic
