Installed Nismo GTR cat on car, have problems.

Hi, I have installed a Nismo GTR cat on my car, an R33 GTSt. However when I installed the oxy sensor on the my origanal cat was at the bottom on the lhd side and on the GTR cat the oxy sensor was on the bottom rhd side. So I installed it with the oxy sensor on the top left side. The cable was a bit long so I think it is sitting close to the cat.

The problem is after a week a light is coming on on the dash when I am driving, it flashes and goes on off then stays on when I have been running for a while. The outline of the light looks like a cat with lines coming off the top of it. What does this mean?? Is my cat getting to hot?? Should I install the cat with the oxy sensor on the bottom?? If I did it that way I think the cable of the sensor would be running across the top of the cat to get to sensor hole. Or could exhaust be leaking from the cat somewhere???

it's not the oxygen sensor.. its just an exhaust heat temperature monitor. It doesn't effect the running of the car, so you can remove it and then the globe on the dash.
