HKS GT-RS turbo vs. HKS GT2530KAI

Thinking about upgrading from the stock RB25 turbo. HKS's new GT lineup has the 2530KAI and the GT-RS.

GT-RS rated at 400ps

GT2530KAI rated at 364ps

Obviously the GT2530KAI is a lot diferent to the old GT2530 which was rated at only 320ps, 364ps is higher than even the 2540 which is 350ps. Was wondering if anyone had tried the new GT2530KAI and had any feedback on it? GT-RS is ~$250 more than the GT2530KAI, but i am assuming it's response wouldn't be as good.

Looking at this page on the HKS website, HERE it seems that the GT2530KAI is marketed as more of a responsive turbo with lower peak hp, but looking at the charts, it seems they both hit full boost and peak power at similar RPM's, the only real difference being the GT-RS has a higher peak power output.

Well what is your intented target?

Its easy to stab in the dark with a turbo, but remember youll need injectors, afm, ecu and a few other things to use the full potential of the turbo

What is 400 ps likely to be in rwkw?

400ps with the gt-rs is likely to be at least 240 to 250rwkw as you can see in thread
