Ni its great to see someone givin the local guys some stick, shows they need to work harder on their drifting,... will make for an awsome contest in yrs to come

also having an ex NiWorks car helps, right? :rofl:

as for seats, that's something gareth was doin on the side, so only he can answer you... i'll make sure I ask him though when I speak to him next.

Well i did fix/modify it a little :( starter motor... tailshaft mounts... frankinstein zip tied front bar :rofl: and a few other minor touches that just complete the car :)

if that was the vid of the final with simon, i dont know why he is bitching, jarius kicked his ass!!!!!!!!

even with a CA turbo motor the 86 is outdated and tooooo slooooow!

nah there was a couple of of battles before that i think... well one that wasnt in it where Simon won... then JT won the next one and then it went to a rerun where his tyres farked up. so i wouldnt say he kicked his arse

      I think this is more a question you should ask the tuner. My assumption is you have nothing plugged into the original pin for ring gear crankshaft, which is where your map sensor should get wired to, but now you've asked the tuner to disable it. I'm assuming (because I haven't memorised your setup) you are using RB25 ECU on the RB20 loom, to plug into an RB25. You will want to check what else is connected potentially backwards between the engine, loom, and ECU. You might be all fine and safe. The best solution you could have done is wire in a map sensor, and leave the ECU able to read a map sensor.

      These arn't them, but these are the pieces.  I dont think hydrodipping would work. Also, the plastic is very old and brittle, the trims are out of the car atm getting some mounting holes jb welded.

      What about hydrodipping? I was looking at it but if the piece is complicated the end result might not be as good, I've seen it recently where if you have a checkered pattern for example and dip it, the area where the plastic bends, those checkered boxes look stretch. Doesn't look terrible but not the best result either.  Every rattlecan job I've seen has turned out crap (at least on the skylines, they are always peeling and bubbling) but I haven't seen anyone get a proper spray gun and compressor and go at it. In theory they should last a lot longer. Vinyl wrap is another option (also difficult if there are a lot of complicated sections)
