Hi Guys,

I have just had what I believe is the rear left CV joint $hit itself. There is a knocking noise coming from the rear left and a shudder through the car at speed. I've been told that no one in WA rebuilds them so I'm looking at getting a second hand part. The place I called is Jap Parts Plus WA, are they any good? Is there a better supplier to contact for this?

I'm wanting to get this sorted ASAP as I am reliant on this car to get to work until i bring my other car over from NSW

I have an r33 GTST series 1. I'm up north near Joondalup and don't want to drive the car too far in it's current state.

Have you tried the Nissan Dealer in Wanneroo? I know they used to carry skyline parts. Failing that - I think someone on this forum works at a dealer in Morley and might be able to help out..

bollocks no one rebuilds them..

try allans cv joints, there in ossie park, i don't have the number handy saddly but they should be in the yellow/white pages

hey i do work in the parts dept of a nissan dealership (used to be morley ) but now in midland but trust me it will be way tooooooo expensive try allans cv joints as mentioned above or "cv joints wa" 93003755

we have a part number for the gasket but there is non in australia, i have emailed nissan australia to chech for stocks in japan and should have a reply tomorrow... price is about $8
