Quick release steering wheel as theft detterent

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about quick release steering wheel hubs for a hicas equipped Skyline? I have an R32 GT-R and I'd like to get one of these kits as a theft detterent. I have got a hicas lock kit if that makes any difference...

I figure that if I park the car on the street and take my steering wheel with me then there's less chance of the car being stolen... right?!

I dunno about you bit I feel like a bit of a toolbox carrying a steering wheel around with me.

If I had a briefcase that the wheel 'clips' into then ok.

I'd give Revolution Racegear in Auburn a buzz.

The only company I can think of who makes them is Bestex.

tow trucks dont have to turn your car on to take it away nor turn your tyres, but then again it could be a detterent for the common theif.
