R32 problem, anybody got any ideas???

hey all, I'm having a little problem with my 32 skyline. After driving for a while (could be 30mins or could be 1 hour) it starts to get this problem where all of a sudden it will just start cutting out, but only when you are accelerating. To me it seems like fuel and thought maybe could just be a dirty fuel filter but i changed that and the problems still there. Also when its continually cutting out i end up pulling over and it can either idle really high at around 1500 or can stall. When i say cut out its not stalling or anything the revs are staying the same its just when you accelerate there will be nothing there and all of a sudden you get power again. CAN ANYBODY HELP!!!!

leaking turbo pipe? My car does the same thing when the boost controller is on, and I found that the gasket from one fo the turbo's was leaking (on and off).

Did you get it fixed? What sort of cash am i looking at? Or actually it still will be under warranty. Cheers for that man

sooo many people seem to be having this type of problem, ther are alot of options that could be the problem. start with the AFM and fuel pump. check other forums eg, general m for more info.

Cheers, just got off the phone to charlies motors who had it on the dyno its running lean and yeah gotta replace fuel pump and filter

problem ended up being the AFM (air flow meter), cheers for your suggestions help big time.
