Wiesco forged pistions

Hi Guys

Im in the process of collecting parts to rebuild my GTR engine

just a quistion has anyone used wiesco forged pistions ?

as im over seas and Ii can them cheap

I was thinking of getting them coated with Thermal Barrier Coating (tbc ) from swaintech as well has anyone done this ?

I use forged wiesco pistons in my motor cross bike and there tough as hell just wondering if anyone has used them in there cars

hi, I was at the qld track day on tuesday and there was a guy with wiseco pistons in his gtr motor, running 1 bar ok. dont know if he goes on this forum or not.

has anyone heard bad reports about this pistions ?

i have run 32psi with wiseco pistons & had no trouble even with nos

If you are overseas (I assume America ) and you have doubts about the pistons then why dont you buy some of the other brand avaible over there ? Like Aries or Venolia etc.

I myself am putting together a RB26/RB30 bottom end motor at the moment. Its using Wiseco forgies and I have had the tops of the pistons coated and the combustion chambers as well. All the reports I have had about these pistons has been very positive so I went with them.

Ive got wiesco forgies in my rb31det motor in my r32.

Runs perfectly fine, its goin for a small powerup soon, but final power output should see it over the 300rwkw region....

No probs with the pistons, its how they are setup, and how the motor is tuned that makes the difference
