You could measure the exit side of the exhaust housing , if its about 55mm its a GT30 turbine making the turbo a GT3040R . If its larger (cant remember exducer size on a GT35 turbine) its probably a GT3540R .

Compressor covers are not a sure fire way of identifying turbochargers . GT37 compressors (GT30R) generally use T04E covers , while GT40 compressors can use T04E or T04S covers . Turbine size will tell for sure .

what rated GT30?

you should be up around 270-280rwkw... if using the 600hp

Mine is the 500hp GT30 with .60 A/R

I prolly could make 270-280rwkw but would be pushing the limits of the standard internals as is auto ie. making more power @ engine than can be known 4 sure

But will be gettting internals & gearbox done very shortly & will be aiming 4 about the 335rwkw mark anyway (450hp)
