Dry is best obviously. But in the wet they're not the worst tyres, the cheaper falken ZE326 is by far the worst in the wet.

Launch is pretty good..... drift is for fags, so I wouldn't know :D

Oh, and I get them from a RICE Supporting tyre shop in mandurah so those prices might slightly lower than normal prices. Either way, good value for money :)

I got sumitomo HTRZ on the back of mine and have found them to be great

I paid 250buck each for 255/40/17

even when they do let go, they still keep bitting for traction

Or Toyo Proxy are apparently quiet sticky, but the softer they are they quicker they wear down, and at $470 each go, I'll stick with the sumitomo's

i chew thru any tyres i have :)

On my zed i had the potenzas .... nice tyres .... but due to unfortunate circumstances .... such as swerving to miss dogs ..... nails and other gizmos getting stuck in them ..... i went thru them pretty quickly.

On my skyline i have Kumho Supras .... which were nice while they lasted ..... 8 months on and i chewed thru the rubber, the canvas, the belts and another set of canvas ..... yup definately got my wear outta those.

Now i have paulies tyres :D tyres are like kids ..... so much nicer when they are someone elses :)

can get them from tempetyres over east.. dunno what they charge for the rears, but i know the fronts you get for $140, you can get for $125 + $10 postage per tyre from over there.. so id say ~$200 for the rears too

Nizmo - yeah the kuhmo supra's are nice.. but the 711's are shite.. pity ive got supra's on the front and 711's on the rear :)

On your stocker rims ? Your a dickhead.

I pay $200 for 255/40/17, and $140 for 235/45/17. Cheap Nankang NS-II's that grip like all hell :D Im happy with them :)

today i am picking up my 265/35/18 Hankook ventus (rear) and 235/40/18 front (forget what they are) ill tell ya how the hankook's go sherriff Wan when i get em on

read the whole thread next time b4 calling me a dickhead - Paul (@dad's)

Cool guys thanks.

I was gonna go for the TOYO's as i got an awesome price $800 for all 4 235/45/R17

Anyonw in mel let me know if you need a set. And before you ask NO they haven't fallen off a truck

I paid $700 for Firestone Firehawks that size they have been pretty good so far had them on for about 7k kilometers better than the Kuhmos i had on b4

Cheers for all you replies! Keep them coming. I can't believe some of you like the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra's. I have them on now and I hate them! Each to their own.

same, they have probably been the crappest tyres I have had on the 32.

Shaun

i got a new pair of khumo's on the back... cheapies.... 145 apeice, used to have nankangs, but the just meltd in 15000kms, though that was the rears the fronts are stll goin hard....

speak to paul at tyrepower canningvale... a really good bloke who gives great prices....

ps. i think we may be needing a tyre company as a sponser.....

Digging up a bit of an old thread but i've decided on going with the Toyo's. Seem to be the best mix of good reputation from other users and price. The price difference between TPG's and the new T1-R's was negligible so i'm going for the T1-Rs in 255/40/17's for $340 each from Booragoon Tyre Service in Myaree. When I go down there to get them fitted, i'll try and sound him out if he's interested at all in becoming a club sponsor for all the SAUWA members. He's only a small outfit but it would benefit him no end, particularly given the number of you out there using Toyo's.

Await a full review of the tyres once fitted
