Buying From Stock

Ok i've seen a 4door on the prestige site and just wondering on ppls opinions on buying from the available stock....

The car i saw has alot of minor mods... exhaust, suspension... And the bumpers have been scraped alot.. basically chunks of paint are off... But i was just wondering what you think of these cars... Like they have never been test driven or inspected... Do you think its worth the risk for how cheap it is>>>??

Or do u think i should just buy something stock and has been test driven for around the same price?

The cars that appear on the mailing list are almost all Yahoo JP or Japan Auto Direct cars: when it says the "supplier reports it drives well" its usually the owner/dealer who is flogging it on Yahoo JP.

That right......I have to agree with the comments made above.

I should also say that I bought from Geoff (Prestige) and had no problems -- in fact it was a very positive experience.

However, you have to realise the public mailings are just teasers so you only get a cut and paste job. Unless there is something particularly special about the car, I would sign up for the full service (either through Geoff or another respected dealer) before purchasing.
