OK found my invoice....it was $368.35 in parts and $893.75 for labour.

You'd save a bit on parts as they needed silicone hoses and a couple of bits with my set-up as it was a butchered R33 manifold...whereas an R33 intake manifold will bolt straight up to yours. Also the dump-pipe gasket and manifold gasket + welding the exhaust was over $100....the stock R33 dump will bolt in place for you...the R34 has a longer front section so I had to pay for extra fitting.

Hope that helps!

It was 16 hours of labour...but spread over 4 days, they could have hit it in one go and done it in 2 days I suppose...I'd imagine bolting the bits on a 33 would be a hell of a lot quicker.

They didn't tune it, it was sent to APC to tune the e-manage, but the least said about that the better....depending on what you decide with the ECU will depend on what path you should take.

Aaron, I’d recommend getting hold of a GTSt ECU and plugging it into your car to see if you get any error codes…I’m 99% sure after looking at the wiring diagrams that the ECU won’t see ANY difference…unlike the R34 ECU *sigh*

Just get a loaner, it’ll only take a few minutes to swap over and see, ideally just swapping the ECU and dropping the base timing a few degrees may be all you need to do.

i am going to contact perFOURmance and see what they think - lost my license for 6 onths - seems like perfect time to do it...

i reckon once i start it back on the road in 1 month i hope - need to get bits then get someone to do it - need to get my hands on a ECU too - then get the timing advanced a little....so much to do so little money

got an idea about water/oil lines.....

rather than getting holes bored in my block/sump etc a guy was telling me he did a bit of a **** around job on a old ford ute - bodge job but what he did for oil/water lines he simply tapped from say oil pressure line and radiator hose (or similar).

I 2was wondering if this would work with the rb25DE - be a hell of allot easier and cheaper

Ive been looking to do run oil/water lines without having to drill into the engine too. I dont have a digital camera on me atm but there is this copper pipe that looks like an oil line to me  its located towards the left of the exhaust manifold (underneth the nissan lable printed on the head (looking at manifold which on my right). What do u reckon... is this an oil line?
