Tein suspension

ive got a set of tein adjustable's on my car... but when i bought it i never got the 'keys' to adjust the height of the car...

anyone have a pair (or even one... cant exactly do both sides at once ) they would like to sell/borrow to me? (yes i know wrong section, but i'd prefer local, especially if its borrowing )

There called C spanners, and you'll need two of them..

can obtain them from most suspension shops, try wheels world 9244 2277

or use a multigrip

That would chew them out, and render them useless for the C Spanner... Not a good idea.. Get the spanner and don't screw your nice expensive TEIN's..

yeah, i dont exactly want to ruin them.. not the cheapest of things..

the usual method is to get a punch and a hammer to loosen up the locking ring..

but it screws them up..

also another pointer, make sure the thread is clean of any grit/small rocks/sand, as gettign these caught up in the thread of the spring base plate will **** the adjuster very quickly, and cutting them off with a hacksaw so you cxan replace them is a pain...

i recomend a bath in wd 40, and a rag to clean it up, and if you have access to it, compressed air of some sort, either form a can or air compressor..
