Is there such a thing as ceramic wheeled n1 turbs or am I beeing tricked, and if so how can they handle a lot of boost?

N1 are steel wheel

they might be steel but they don't seem to be magnetic, could it be something else,they don't look or sound like ceramic

Not all steels are magnetic. It's possible they have been manufactured using austenitic stainless steel, which is non-magnetic. But it's also possible it's been manufactured using a nickel based super alloy (eg Nimonic)....such materials are common in high temp turbines and similar.

From memory "steel" turbine wheels are usually made of MAHL - not sure of the actual composition but high temp resistance, light weight etc.

I'm quite sure the turbines are made from "Inconel" which is a Nickel Alloy. It's non-magnetic and good for high temp and high strength.
