Hi all,

Would anyone know why my freshly imported gtr wont spool up!

I've checked both turbo's for shaft play and how well they spin

and they seem ok!

I've also checked the wastegate's and they seem to move freely!

The car blows only a little smoke and nothing to worry about!

there are no holes in any of the vacuum lines or turbo pipes!

I'm at a complete loss!

All I can think of is the stock boost solinoid working?

Would any one be able to tell me where it is?

I've followed the actuator lines to the back of the engine but i lose where

they go!

Anyways any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!

I had the same problem with my also freshly imported r32 gtr ended up being the front turbo exhaust wheel. The stock boost control solinoid is on the driverside of the engine bay. It has to lines running to it one comes off the end of the cylinder shape and the other off the side. This one has a yellow band painted on it. If you blose compressed air thru it you should see the actuators moving the wastegates smoothly... Also check that the recirculation valves arent leaking and causing boost to be constantly recirculated. But first of all check out the turbine wheels. Make sure they are both still intact.

Hope this helps,

Deren
