Well.. the time has come. I have to tint my car. I've looked at TKO tinting (www.tkotinting.com) and theres some real nice examples there.

The guy who does it (trent) said its around $275-$295 for 20% black or 35%, or a fading black to silver reflective is about $375.

question 1 - legalities of it. Whats the chances a cop will pull me up for reflective or 20% tint, if any1 has had experiences.. do tell

question 2 - has any1 had there car done by TKO, and is he any good

At the moment im thinking reflective like this one. (possibly not as much reflective)

i must say you cant go wrong with 20% normal tint, not reflective however. i'v only ever had a few comments from police about the tinting but none of them really cared (only the fact that you couldn't see my p plates)

Trent from TKO tinted my car and i have nothing by praise. he did a great job at a good price. i highly recommend him

okay i have had my car tinted by Trent at TKO... he did a great job and good price. (i got mine done b4 he started getting really well known, now his prices are higher LOL)

anyways, i got the 20% reflective film (as displayed on his website, my car is actually in the gallery section there... wine red with 20% reflective... think its the only one there... or used to be last time i checked)

ANYWAYS he is a good bloke, and its good tint, no trouble with coppers, but everytime i go through an RBT i make sure both windows are down b4 i get there... just in case
