hey people i just had a 2nd hand rb25 put into my car, and it isnt getting any power....

it used to run 12 psi and get 275 rwhp (the timing was advanced), now at any more boost than 5psi it runs shit, wat may be th problem here??

on the dyno the fuel pump starts running lean and THEN it gets power also as u increase boost it gets LESS power..

on the dyno today when getting tuned it got 205 rwhp.... :D

aight thankx man. so i take i that 0 > 14.7psi. cos i read somwhere "On a normally-aspirated (non-turbo) motor, the air/fuel mix entering the engine is at the pressure of the atmosphere, or 14.7 PSI". whn its 0 on the guage its 14.7psi and increase form there? :S

get a fuel pump ffs

or it will be sitting at a workshop again very soon with another melted 25.

and keep that timing retarded till you do. better off with sub 200 rwhp then a popped 20 in the chase for cas bashing
