Helmets?

Hey Guys,

Can anyone suggest any good places in Sydney where I could buy a helmet relatively cheaply? I was hoping for less than $200 (the cheaper, the better at the moment), although I don't know if it's possible to get them that cheap.

I want to take my car for another run at WSID in the next few weeks (and track days in future), but I don't have access to a helmet anymore...so it's about time i bought my own anyway.

When buying a helmet check whether it can be used for both Drag racing and circuit racing.

Generally, if it is Aust approved it will be OK for both.

I went to 1 of my local motorbikes shops and picked up an approved full-face helmet for $160.

try the motorcycle shop on epping rd, lane cove, cnr of centennial ave.....they had a big range between $100 and $200 abt 6 months ago

Ended up getting a full face helmet from Motorcycle Accessories Warehouse in Parramatta for $120 - pretty happy with that.

full face is good, if you are into 2 wheel action then you want nothing less.. I still drive in my full face helmet, all be it with heaps of vents as I live in the hottest part of Oz... I also got mine with enough room for my radio headset for the back-to-pit radio...
