hi all, i want to get my stock r33 turbo high flowed and am wondering if i'll need a full engine management system or could i get away with a safc2? all intake mods are done fmic, pod, exhaust, bov. fuel pump is on the way but rest of engine is stock. how would it run with just safc2? anythinmg else i should know or be concerned about? :headspin:

if you alreay have the SAFCII then stick with it. It will do the job fine.

It sorta depends on what you want to do in the future i reckon. If you are gonna leave your mods at that level for ever then a SAFCII would be fine.

If you're going to do a lot of work on the engine and have high hopes to be a dyno/drag king then go a powerfc.

I'd have to lean towards full mangement, me and a friend have very simlar spec cars, and he has a SAFCII, and I have full management.

Although the SAFCII works fine, mine appears to drive a lot better, build boost faster, has a smoother power curve and more power outright. T

hat said, my friends car ain't no slouch on the street.

But its up to the gearbox and almighty dollar :P
