Yeah.... My problem is im an auto elec so fitting is not a problem....

However when ever i call round to find who reckons one is better i get different answers. One guys said "You wont be able to fit it yourself, ill charge ya $200 for installation" I laughed. Its a plug and play you idiot....

I just need to see first hand on a car with similar mods what ECU setup they are using. I mean i have done about 6 PFC on customers cars before, but never tuned then. Just wired and supplied the units. Wolf and I dont like each other. I did a Wolf 3D on a twin cam Gemini once which was the biggest nightmare. Just would not work properly, could not tune it. Ran like a bag, just nightmare. So i have not touched another Wolf from this experience over 4 yeas ago.

I assume the Wolf3D you used was not the version 4, specifically because the version 4 plugins havent existed for 4 years :P

PFC and Wolf3Dv4 Plugin are basically identical for fitting - literally plug and play, and driveable on the base maps. But the PFC controls idle up when headlights and/or AC is turned on, and Wolf doesnt. There are several other fairly minor points that Wolf doesnt do that PFC does, but its those minor things that make the difference between a perfectly streetable car and a bitch. The Wolf plugin also supports MAP sensor though, as well as a few outputs for various things, the person to talk to about these would be 'summoner'... His RB26 Cefiro runs Wolf v4 and he loves them. But then again he's strange in so many other ways too.

Having now owned a car with a replacement ECU (Haltech E6K in the VL), I'll never be doing that again :D Those "minor things" I was talking about in the last paragraph really make such a huge difference overall.
