What Head Bolts (RB25DET)

Getting up to that stage with my engine build and we are wondering what stronger head bolts are out there, i have heard ARP don't make em for RB25??

If i can use something better than std Nissan ones i will.

Yes that's right ARP don't do rb25 head bolts, not even head studs.

If you want to upgrade, ARP rb26 head studs are the way to go, the block will need redrilling for the thicker studs.

Measure it yourself, ARP's website have a form you can fill out and they will send you a custom set.

just went with normal studs, wasn't going to pay the $600/$700 they want for them.

Any one know the differences in size between the standard rb25 head bolts and the ARP rb26 head studs. My head and block are at the machine shop at the moment and they just want to make sure there is going to be a big enough difference in size to re tap the block properley.

i have a set of RB25 ARP head studs, i don't know what you guys are on about?

RB25 head bolts are 11mm

RB26 head bolts are 12 mm

We use 12.5 mm in RB31's
