There are heaps of debates over the filters (pod or panel) and how good they actually

are for your car.

chicane is right - partition it off otherwise you will be sucking in ALOT of hot air coming off

the engine.

The debate is; that some filters have very good air flow but poor filtration, thus getting

dust and particles into your motor, where as other filters have poor air flow but are doing

what they are meant to be doing and that is to FILTER particles and crap. It will depend

on where you live, ie. dusty area, or nice clean area.

Best you can do is keep it oiled, and build a nice solid partition to keep heat and unwanted

crap out. You can buy one for about 150ish or build it yourself, I just recently built one myself and you can stick on hand in the engine bay area, and other in the pod partition area and really notice a difference in temperature after a spirited drive.

K&N, Blitz, Apexi, Unifilters - they wont vary by very much, the most you'll get is an additional or negative few kw
