I hope for your sake you don't take a cent less that $39,999 ! JEEZZZ... I will have a cry if you sell a car this nice cheaply!

I see nearly 20k in bits alone! hmmm.... 3 weeks ago I would have bought this without a second thought!

:):):rofl::)

I am so impressed with Justin's car. As a good mate, I had a rare chance to drive this beast. I would believe it an insult to sell it for anything as low as $30k, that's so much car for so little cash. :P

Good luck mate,

Howie

Absolutely awesome. So clean!

this car used to belong to me..it was mint when i sold it ..even better now ...can`t believe you selling it justin...and all the gear you put in it makes it bargain @ 40k i reckon

Hey Steve!!! Thanks for selling me the car in the first place!!! I've loved every minute of owning it, love it so much still. I'm not even 100% sure I wil sell it. I might even bite the bullet and store it as it's just a classic and in such great condition inside and out. Thanks for all the propos guys, much appreciated.

I would recommend you keeping it!!!... I would be upset to see someone sell a car this nice for that price! the selfish part of me says "if he sells this for anything less than 40k I will be pissed at the value of my mint R32 GTR!!!" :P

so if you can strech the budget I would store the 32 and go the 34 also... my plan is to have the best of the GT-R's...being the 32 and the 34.... who needs the ugly duckling :P

oh and Bump... a stealth bump :P

Justin,

I was at Eastern Creek last year and I could not take my eyes off this car...... It makes my 32 look like a falcodore next to it, Never seen a straighter car period. This is the standard that I want my car to be at after the rebuild/ respray.

I hope for your sake you keep the car justin.

Mike

Hey thanks guys and at no stage did I say $30k for the car. A serious buyer will know what this car is worth once they have seen it in real life and up ona hoist.

Franks, my Type-R is a DC5R it's up on carsales. Red one check it out.

I am getting a lot of calls from people expecting me to fix the oil leak ($3k) and throw in the new wheels + tyres ($6k) and sell this immaculate R32 GT-R for $30k. Looks like I worded my first post wrong. I have decided to have 2 options:

A) $35k for the car as it is with the BBS rims and oil leak (ie: you fix the leak, no need to but you probably should if you intend to love the car as much as I have).

B) $40k with the oil leak fixed and with the new 18inch Nismo LMGT4's + new semi slicks.

Hope this helps.

You guys are going to splat all over your keyboards once you see my new 18inch Nismo LMGT4's on the car. Going on tomorrow with new semi slicks and 12months rego. I have had one very serious offer for the car without the new rims and tyres and oil leak fixed. I am holding off until I can see the car with wheels for myself! Pics will be up tomorrow once wheels are on.

hi mate

i am not interested in buyer the car

but as a fan of r32's and my dad getting one in 2 weeks in the same condition as yours.

    • Very decent bit of kit. Definitely black it out I reckon.
    • Because people who want that are buying euros. The people with the money to buy the aftermarket heads and blocks aren’t interested in efficiency or making -7 power, they’re making well over 1,000hp and pretty much only drive them at full throttle  best way to way make money is know your customer base and what they want and don’t spend money making things they don’t want.
    • It's not, but it does feel like a bit of a missed opportunity regardless. For example, what if the cylinder head was redesigned to fit a GDI fuel system? It's worth like two full points of compression ratio when looking at modern GDI turbo vs PFI turbo. I'm pretty reliably surprised at how much less turbo it takes to make similar power out of a modern engine vs something like an RB26. Something with roughly the same dimensions as a -7 on an S55 is making absolutely silly power numbers compared to an RB26. I know there's a ton of power loss from things like high tension rings, high viscosity oil, clutch fan, AWD standby loss, etc but it's something like 700 whp in an F80 M3 vs 400 whp in an R33 GTR. The stock TF035HL4W turbos in an F80 M3 are really rather dinky little things and that's enough to get 400 whp at 18 psi. This just seems unwise no? I thought the general approach is if you aren't knock limited the MFB50 should be held constant through the RPM range. So more timing with RPM, but less timing with more cylinder filling. A VE-based table should accordingly inverse the VE curve of the engine.
    • I've seen tunes from big name workshops with cars making in excess of 700kW and one thing that stood out to me, is that noone is bothering with torque management. Everyone is throwing in as much timing as the motor can take for a pull. Sure that yields pretty numbers on a dyno, but it's not keeping these motors together for more than a few squirts down the straight without blowing coolant or head gaskets. If tuners, paid a bit more attention and took timing out in the mid range, managed boost a bit better, you'll probably see less motors grenading. Not to name names, or anything like that, but I've seen a tune, from a pretty wild GT-R from a big name tuner and I was but perplexed on the amount of timing jammed into it. You would have expected a quite a bit less timing at peak torque versus near the limiter, but there was literally 3 degrees of difference. Sure you want to make as much as possible throughout the RPM range, but why? At the expense of blowing motors? Anyhow I think we've gone off topic enough once again lol.
    • Because that’s not what any of them are building these heads or blocks for. It’s to hold over over 1000hp at the wheels without breaking and none of that stuff is required to make power
