What should hopefully be an easy question. :P

The base timing on an RB20 is 15deg. At idle if my hand controller reads 15 then the ECU is presuming that the base timing is 15degrees since it gets its signal from the CAS off the exhaust cam?

Next question is what is the range of adjustment with the CAS? If you wind it fully clockwise, is that 10,20??? degrees retarded?

Im just trying to suss out what igntion my car is running, so will grab a timing light, but first want to confirm the PFC assumes base timing is 15deg, not what is displayed on the handset + base timing

If it's anything like the Wolf, then what is displayed is an offset from 0. You probably need to adjust the offset in the PFC until the 15 that the PFC is programmed to run agrees with the 15 on the crank pulley..

With mine, the handset showed 15, but when I put a timing light on it, it was about 45!!!!! And it advanced from there!!!! No wonder it pinged when I put the boot into it.
