check out the rb25 turbo upgrade dyno post (search for it) and find the most laggy looking dyno graph. copy their mods and you shold be sweet. i suspect the hks2540 will be the most laggy or gt30 with stock internals, the gt30 is suited for a midly tweaked engine

what makes u think i want lag i said all along i want 250 with torque, grunt ,response not LAG :D

"i figure i should run the more boost like 1.1bar to make it rather than go external wich requires less psi but more lag. MY REASON: so on std boost my wife wont shit herself when it come on!!!"

that says to me i want high power top end (fine) but i want lag so my wife doesnt get angry when 200rwkw spits out at 2000rpm, so therefore i want a laggy setup.

am i wrong? if so thats ok, ill chage my previous posts

but from the info you gave (limited) it said to us you want a laggy turbo thar had good top end. laggy so your wife didnt have a fit, and good top end so you could enjoy it when u kept the throttle nailed down

dude,

the HKS GT2835R is your best solution, it will give you the air-flow you need for 250rwkw with the response you require as a street car.

Garrett also offer the same spec turbo with an internal wastegate which flows the same a the HKS turbo, so financially this would be the cheaper way out.

I think you need an automatic SS commodore..... 5.7l v8.....'

Perfect soccor mum car with a bit of go.... LOL

Nah just kiding, back to the topic. HKS 2535 will see the figure you want with the responce you admire. Sard or malpassi rising rate FPR and your set.... Around 18psi i reckon and 250rwkw is possible. Assuming you have an exhaust and FMIC....

its rb25t my mistake,

but just so u know high compresion na motors arent a

bad thing with turbos u get a lot more grunt down low u

spin any turbo round 1200rpm faster u just need to tune

ur ecu properly did it twice on a vl and a skyline and i ran

26psi threw the skyline wich i didnt need wiv t3/4 combo

and 2000rpm gave full boost an massive burnout torque.

tru story  :D

thats the most rubbish filled post i've read this week.

1200rpm sooner on an N/A motor... which one?

RB30 (vl) has a lower compression to start off with in the N/A so a turbo conversion is nicer...

anyhow. Your after an RS500 said... a HKS 28XX... or basically a Garrett GT28, around the 450HP mark will get you what you want.

that was my na skyline silouette wiv factry LSD 4 skidz

RUBBISH is not what my mates said as i painted his street black with mountains of torque

dont be fololed by thinking high comp is bad!!

Forget that i ran 26psi it was becuase the t3/4 internal gate was faulty and

wouldnt open so i ran what it pumped and that was 26psi.

it made ruffly the same power/ torque with 1 bar as opposed to a low comp motor

with needs much higher boost to compensate like 20 and more.

try it then say its rubbish until then SHUT YOUR MOUTH

You think with Fuel pressure regulator and a good fuel pump the stock fuel system would be able to support 250rwKw? (and I'm from perth ehhehe :headspin: )

Im about to try a 2535 but dont have injectors at the moment, hope it'll get 250kw

will have results by end of month

Stock injectors will be fine for 250rwkw, like i said, got 2 mates with gtst's who both run 2535's, make about 250rwkw, very responsive... both on stock injectors...

HeathGTST owns 'MSPEC2'... DentonR33's old car... is one

the other one is on the forums as MSPEC i think....

I don't know about the GTRS or other turbos... i just know what my friends used... and thier cars are very quick.... they both run PowerFC's tuned by RacePace.

2535 sounds like the ONE

what they worth ?

does nengun sellem?

I high flowed a standard r33 comp. Had steel wheels fitted an the BB cartridge replaced. They also changed my exhaust wheel to a different type (unknown origin).

I reached 217rwkw at 10psi on strock injectors and just a piggy back system....

(Had to drop the cat out so the exhaust could flow, as at the time i had a stock exhaust.)

Now im up to around the 250rwkw roughly when i use my race pipe. Then with the stock exhaust re connected it turn it down a little to around 200rwkw.....

thats good power from a hi flow

what boost gave u 250?

i have not cnfirmed 250rwkw with the boost turned up...

I have a list of mods as long as my arm.... 217rwkw was with just boost and a few minor mods, or common mods you may say...

I am only estimating 250rwkw at 16psi.... It would be very close to this figure tho....

Its all about the supporting mods, you could make 250rwkw from a stock setup (for about 1 second) then she would go BOOM. So its about reliable power to me... I run 200rwkw daily, for fuel reasons. Then i can turn it up with 20 minutes work....

Hi Guys, I thought that we had covered all the possible threads on turbos for RB25's, and everyone was using the search button. But then up pops another one, exactly the same

(usual) question.......so I give the same (usual) answer........

We have an R34 GTT that makes 265rwkw (355 rwhp) on a GCG ball bearing hi flow, and it makes more power EVERYWHERE than it did standard. That is pretty close to the 450 bhp that the hi flow is rated at. For a half days work, bolt on (no fabrication required) it is hard to beat. Plus it looks STANDARD, never going to have a rego inspection problem at any level. That was 2 1/2 years ago, what about the new turbos released since? Well, despite having plenty of other choices, I am using a GCG ball bearing hi flow on the Stagea.

My 20 cents worth:cheers:

On pump fuel? For how long?

Not even a std RB25det would last long on 26psi, if run constantly.
