All depends on how much of a risk the engineer signing off your car is willing to take. for example we've had one engineer refuse to sign off a client's RB26DETT single T78 turbo setup because it was too different from stock and it'd need emissions testing before he'd put his name to it, so we contacted another engineer who signed it off without even glancing at it. But the second engineer was more concerned than the first about the quality of the side intrusion bars (he wouldn't sign it unless the bars were welded onto the car instead of just bolted on).

So yeah, all depends on your engineer and what they are more concerned with when signing off a car.
