DAVE CONNOR
Hello all, I keep hearing about resetting the ecu on the skyline. I've recently put in a new engine and would like to know where the ecu is, and if it's a tricky job to reset it. Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. ps, it's the sedan auto, 1994. R33vit
If you put a new engine in then you would have had the battery disconnected. This is all you need to do to reset the factoy ECU. R33TypeMS2Wooshka
nah all u gotta do is just disconnect the battery, or like i did unthinkingly, leave ur lights on till teh battery is deadz0r... and then get a jump gotta love the jump point in the fuse box under bonnet for a safety against surges blowing ur ecu instead its a pissy little 10-15 dollar fuse vs, eg. PFC about 1000-1600$ worth Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/64619-ecu-reset-on-r33-rb25det/#findComment-1211535 Share on other sites
