L28/ L28ET into HR30

Quick question for you all. Will a L28E/ L28ET bolt straight into a HR30 in place of the L20ET?

Not that I have done the swap, but according to the sages on this forum, the short motors are externally physically identical.

All petrol L6's are externally identical.

The diesel's are taller.

Only if it has the same sump configuration.

Ah yes, good Point Steve.

You _may_ need to re-work the oil pickup and fit your L20A sump, depending on what donor your L28 comes from.

Yes it will fit and although may not be necessary, i would fit the sump and oil pickup from the original engine just to be sure....as far as i know th l28 is taller than the l20 and the diesel one are taller again(as said above) but they will all bolt in......hmm turbo diesel r30? lol
