air flow metres

Hi y'all....

I was wondering if anyone knows where i can purchase new or 2nd had air flow metres...as my car has been cutting out due to the computer detecting that one of the two air flow metres is on its last legs and thinking its taking in bad air through to the injectors and causing the car to shut down.

what its the best air flow metres to buy and at what mm's.... ive heard different opinons on having 80mm or 90mm air flow installed but wasn't sure what was the best for the engine.

anyways if anyone has information they can send me or advice that would be much appreciated and very helpful....

what exactly is bad air, and how does it goin to the injectors have any relation???

though if you do find any, am after an afm for 33gtst also.

more to the point....if there is air getting to the injectors I would say there is a fuel leak.

Try all the importers and if you have no luck. Give Zoom motorsports a call. They are in Wynnum, Brisbane. Your location doesn't really give a fair idea where you are exactly so it is hard to advise someone for you.

thanks the the reply... im sorry... just got back from overseas and i used to own a vl com....so i was talking bout the wrong thing.... i mean with the air flow metres.... its sending information to the computer saying that no air is going to the turbos, so it cuts off the engine....

thats why i need new air flow metres...cos i cant start the car cos when i do it staying open once kicked over for bout 7 min and then shuts down automatically.

have you tried cleaning them with contact cleaner or something?
