Lately i've had difficulty with police defecting my vehicle for boost controllers, safc, pod filter and bov. I'm thinking bout upgrading to a power fc as my car is really lacking since i have gone back to standard boost, no piggy-back and standard airbox.

With a power fc is there any sign of it being in your car? wiring etc... Also with the extra Power fc boost control kit does it just work like any normal ebc and can it be hidden in your vehicle so cops dont slap another canary on my car.

I want my car to look as stock as possible for cops but want it to perform better as it sucks driving atm.

they wont be able to see the powerfc unless you have the hand controller on the dash

if they remove the kick panel (unlikely) then they will see the stock ecu casing but it will have the apexi powerfc logo. the boost kit is basically the avcr solenoid and has similar functionality. they will be able to spot the avcr solenoid most likely as youll have 2 or 3 tubes running to it. if you can hide the solenoid youll be fine

The boost control kit plugs into the Power FC (which is in the standard ECU position behind the LHS kick panel), so it is invisible in the cabin (no blue screens). You can unplug the Commander as well if you want. Under the engine bay there is the solenoid, but it is not particularly obvious, stick it under the airbox (totally out of sight) if you want. Ditto the map sensor, it is black and not very obvious either. Keep the wiring harnesses looking standard and it would be pretty hard to spot anything modified.

Stick a Pipercross panel in the standard air filter box and they won't see that either.
