r33 plastic headlights

has anyone discovered a magic product to clean up dull headlights on most common imports with plastic headlights?

cut and polish dude....

just apply some.....then rub it off

apparently this gets rid of the brown shit that gets on the lights...and makes up come up like new

Ive noticed on the instructions on the back on some brands say not to use on plastic, can I still use it?

i'm not sure ... but i talked to a mate that tried it on his and made it worse.. plastic is all foggy where he rubbed it back with cut+polish, i think it was a bit harsh.

what about normal polish?

I use normal polish to get all of the black shit off the rear bumper....from the zorst (no cat)...that works well

DON'T USE CUT AND POLISH ON PLASTIC !!!!

It will **** it.... it eats away at the first layer.. now while that is fine for paint, on plastic it will screw it and never be the same ever again.

Don't do it! Maybe normal polish is ok, but no, no, no on cut and polish. Try it on some bit of plastic yourself and see what it does to it first.

go to rice barn and pick up a bottle of that meguiars clear plastic polish stuff...

its not as big as normal polish bottle, and its light grey... that stuff works great for outside of lighst.. if your lights are fogged up, sometimes the problem is inside of the plastic, in which case you can polish teh outside all you like and it wont do a thing...
