i got caught speeding last nite, yeah dumb thing i know, but this means loss of licence for me, :alcoholic

my question is, if on the fine the police officer hasn't writtern that the speed was a breach of my p's agreement, which it is, is the fine dismissable?? as they haven't filled out the full details so in essence the fine becomes null???

just checking if anyone knows about this, im gonna see a lawyer on friday to get the full story, :argue:

just due to the new laws if i do loose my licence then after the 6month period, i go back onto my p's for a further 2.5 years :headshot:

I'd say you'll still get that extra point and $50-odd fine.

How fast were you going, out of interest? What road? Lucky they didn't get you for hooning or defect you.

How many times have you been to court before? If you've been a couple of times before, grab a lawyer and see how you go. If you fight and fight, it's generally pretty easy to keep your licence. Some people just prefer the six month suspension to the lawyer fees, etc. At least the suspension will give you a few months to sort your car out.

looks like the missing p plate bit doesn't matter should have been on there but still stop anything, however i can be elected to be prosecuted, and have a chance not to loose points but still pay the fine

its a 50/50 chance with a lawyer fee of $1100

so if i sell my engine i'll be going for it

if i don't go for it it's a loss of licence for prob 6 months and then back on my P's for 2.5 yearsi'd rather an extension on my p's

if it all goes bad then i'll prob sell my skyline as it has cost me a bucket load, just peed of coz i just got ebverything running nicely new engine 180rwkw on non shoot out mode could up the boost and it should put out a nice 200rwkw(think this is my prob to much acceleration power!!!)
