R32 Gtr Auction Sheet Translation

Recommended Posts

Good luck getting that translated

Its really weird. Apparently alot of the auctioneers don't write japanese, they put all their comments in english (or their idea of english) and they actually write in down on the paper with japanese letters. .. So its hard even for japanese speaking people to read..

Not to mention the scribble that is your auction sheet.. They should definately make bigger spaces for comments - considering alot of these cars are highly modified

:headspin:

well there is a few things you can tell about it without needing to read japanese. firstly, it's an accident grade car. secondly it's a 1989 model. body doesn't look too bad. some pin dents and something up with passenger side window, some sratches and possibly indicating some accident repair (not really sure). your buyer should be able to have this interpreted for you.

I can read most of it - it's definitely in japanese, LOL - the core problems with auction sheets are:

1. handwriting tends to be atrocious

2. kanji is small (often this partly to do with the size of the scan) - makes it hard to differentiate

3. they write in a 'code' - a kind of shorthand - people in 'the know' will understand it - but if you don't know the lingo/abbreviations - it can be guesswork only

If no-one transaltes it soon, I'll tell you what I can

(blacky - if you are reading this - I haven't forgotten about you, I just haven't had the time/opportunity to pass on your sheet)

Yeah i'm reading DaiOni, and thats cool, whenever u get round to it is ok. I've had a few people have a stab at it now including J exchange students and they all think its hard to read. But they all manage to get "Rigid Spacer"! .

here's part 1, I'll try to squeeze in a bit more later:

89 bnr32 GTR, gunmetal grey

* 65,710km. Km are listed as 'unclear' as the car has a nismo speedometer

* r33 rb26dett

*n1 turbos

* frontpipe (downpipe, or whatever you want to call it)

* cat-back exhaust

* mines cpu

* OS twin plate clutch

* mines 'direct shift' (??)

* rollbar

* n1 rotors

* boost meter

* lots of little scratches, including stonechip(s), and scratched rims

* there is a bit that looks like 'no factory parts' - but it's under the bit about the nismo dash (hard to tell if they are connected) - so it may be saying 'has a replacement speedo, and no original speedo' (so - can't verify kms)

I'll need to get my magnifying glass out for the rest, :)

okay, part II...

* I can't deceipher the first 'sales point' - first kanji is 'car', second appears to be 'high', I think the last is chou - which can mean condition/style. It's a total guess, but I think the inference is that this is a 'high-level car' (probably a reference to the degree of modification)

* has 17" rims

* has a 'takuu' bar (?)

* from my translation, it says "The owner has done a lot of modifications to this car, to confirm everything (on the car) come and look at it". I think, it suggests that there may be a lot more mods to the car

* pillow-ball tension rods

* oil catch can

* there's something about lock-nuts and a spare key - but not sure what (I would hope it says that they come with the car...)

* seat(s?) are worn/damaged

* the floor of the boot has been repaired

* the car has had repairs done, including dent repairs ('dent' is a very cool kanji - you learn something every day!)

* there are scratches and dents on the underbody (I'd assume there probably is surface rust too - but that is not listed)

* rear 'spo' (I'm guessing that is an abbrev. form of 'spoiler'...) has a scratch
