I bought an HID kit off BT-Revolution (on these forums) for my S15, and they are bloody fantastic! I think he has a group buy on at the moment for around $400, which is a bargain. By far the best mod I did on my S15 - you wouldn't believe how much better light HID kits give off. And the globe plug straight into your H1 fitting - all you have to do is wire up the ballasts (1 hour job tops to fit everything).

what kit did you get 6000 or 8500k???

how long have you had them in ??

I have the 6,000k - have had them in for about 4 months. I wouldn't go the 8,000k, else you become cop-bait at night.

Ok guys, just read all the posts on this thread. My R34 is at compliance, but came across one hurdle :Cough: :Cough:

Car is in Sydney, and they want to remove the Xenon's. Like everyone, i dont want this. If any of you can spare your headlights (whole thing) for a couple of weeks (i can pay you rent fee), it would be appreciated.

Had my xenons removed at first but due to a personal connection, they were put back not much later after compliance. Of course, the people who re-installed the lights never actually "insalled" them.

Usually, depending on the place, they will have one set of halogen lights for fitting (before compliance) and then all the other xenons there to sell as extras when the car goes... that way, the guys get more money, and not waste the xenons!

There is only ever one conversion done... the one that gets swapped around from car to car! Given the option, I think most people would pay 1K for the upgrade - luckily mine were free
