this guy is an absolute joke, your lucky that the fraudulent crap your pulling wouldnt send you to jail for a first time offence but rest assured keep up this crap and you will be meeting "bubba" really soon. Damien if this tool doesnt get his sh*t together and work it out your way, make a call to the police, theyre obligated to at least check it out and it costs you nothing. If you want to take it further contact a lawyer for some quick legal adivce, I can tell you now the costs of the dispute would outweigh the cost of the pump, but you could certainly put this tool in his place with a civil suit.

yeh I remember this character. I organised group buys for the AVCR and also for the 044's and this fool came along and undercut me on both items. I was a bit sus on him but who was to know? I eventually got a better price for the AVCR's and luckily the people who got it from me didnt get ripped off as thay might have by doridori. unfortunately I couldnt get a better price for the 044's :)

Anyway - good luck Damien and I hope it worx out for you.

ps - how'd that dual stage bc work out for you?

Yeah, the boost controller works great, Thanks gr33dy!!

Doridori32 has agreed to a $200 refund which puts me out of pocket

whatever the delivery and cod cost is!

For what it's worth I'll send it cod at me expense!

I'll see how we go!

Thanks guys for all your support!

Damien

I was thinking something along those lines myself Ben :)

Mines_dori_FC_bus really wants to be careful who he scams. I'm sure just about everyone knows people that... "fix problems"

Those of you who have been shafted should compile all the relevant information about your dealings with doridori32 and pass them on to the authorities.

I have no doubt doridori32 will be receiving a hard lesson in karma in the very near future.

Although the point here is that the guy did not get what he paid for, your arguments about the pump being adequate (apart from being completely beside the point) are totally flawed. I'm far from an expert, but even I can see holes in your logic.

165lph is at 73psi (iirc), meaning that with a 40psi base pressure, at 33psi boost the pump will flow 165lph. So, correct me if I'm wrong, at more sane boost levels the pump will flow less than 165lph. Although 165lph may be enough in itself, this is the pump's max/highest efficiency rating, and it's quite possible that it won't supply enough fuel at (say) 15psi above base to stop his engine from going bang.

But as has been said countless times now, the point here is NOT whether what you supplied is 'adequate', it's the fact that you sold an item that didn't match its description. It'd be like me selling you a GTR, and you got a GTSt with a GTR kit and couple of bolt-ons - they look pretty much the same, they (apparently) perform pretty closely, but it's not what you paid for.

Your going to waste your time buying a "o44 made in czech" you wont need "those specs" .. 165l/ph @ 73+psi is already PLENTY enough - so nexus claims 165 when ive bench testd just under 200lph @ 73psi

I don't claim 165 l/ph

Bosch claims 165 l/ph which is what the fuel pump delivers at 5 Bar at 10 A

So who cares what you have bench marked it at, the Bosch specification sheet that I supplied says differently.

Please show us your official Bosch specification sheet that says that it flows the same amount as the 044.

Bye Bye dori_mines_datsun

don't let the door hit you on the way out

You just keep digging your hole deeper and deeper dont you. If I were you I would shut the f*ck up and sort your problems out before you land yourself in more trouble. The point isnt whether the pump was adequate. I know it may be hard for you, but try and build a picture for yourself. You come to me and give me $150k for a bmw m3, i go hmmm im really in the mood to rip ppl off today so ill sell my normal 3series with the m3 spec bodykit and dodgy engine as the m3. Now you come back and go wtf its not an m3.....what do you reckon? will I get away with saying...ohh but i retrimed it the same as an m3, and it goes just as hard, so whats the difference? For people who are clearly hopeless or appear as though theyre in the 5th grade, people like you, i'll tell you. ITS NOT AN M3. If your sold something other than what was promised, then you get your money back, its not a hard thing to understand. Think yourself bloody lucky that Damien is going to actually pay some money and sort this out, if it were me i wouldnt pay a cent as you clearly dont realise the full weight of what your doing and i'd take pleasure in sending your ass to the police and or court.

If you have any questions dont hesitate to keep them to yourself as noone here wants to hear from you...happy banning, once again mines_tool

I'm not sure that the eThuggery is going to help Damien get his money back.... mines_whatever_the_bloody_hell_it_is_now is just as likely to pack up his bat and ball and go home to have a sulk instead.

Damien appears to be sending the part back COD which means mines_sjdfkjs will have to pay the money to get the part, so it looks like something positive will happen. Of course, Damien is still out of pocket for the COD charges (20 bucks I believe?), and has to trust mines_2131123 to actually pick it up....

How about banning dori whoever from selling stuff on the forums until he gets this mess sorted out? I see he has just posted again selling short shift kits, despite being on holidays/in sydney/no internet/whatever other excuse for breaking the law by passing off a product as something else?

    • Nah, yeah, nah. Speakers have a nominal impedance of 8 ohm that looks more like 6.4 ohm when measured. The receiver's amplifiers (all channels) are all rated to 6 ohm (I think, it's been a long time since I cared). The real problem is that many modern class D amps have aggressive protection circuitry that cuts off the fun if they think too much current is being drawn. And with my speakers having series crossovers, as opposed to more typical parallel crossovers, and big TL enclosures, they can certainly dip down to lower impedances at some frequencies and that easily triggers the protection. Pioneer receivers are somewhat famous for it, but even Denon, Onkyo, et al, all have many complaints against them across various models. It only does it when listening to music at high levels. You have to be putting your ears at risk to do it. But sometimes I want to do that. If I was serious about using it as a listening room I'd simply upgrade the amp for the front pair to a nice Rotel or something, and just use the receiver for signal handling and processing - although that would be a bit of a pain in the arse too. Have to switch on more shit, pre-amp volume vs main amp volume, etc etc.
    • yeah pretty much, stopped playing after lightfall, couldnt be bothered with the final shape...  ran that game into the ground for years... bit of a shame.. the  story was awesome. was playing a lot of trials but the hackers became tooo much, ruined the game.

    • I reckon you are 100% right on the money. The only reason I bought Red Sport instead of the base VR30 is that I am investigating racing it in Production Cars, and they require you to run a (mostly) standard car....therefore knowing exactly what was in the RS spec was important to me and I paid the extra. Other than that, for sure I would have pocketed the $10k and spent them on mods instead. Plus the non-RS models are more likely to have had a nicer life prior. Just a warning though, mods always cost twice as much as they look like they will on paper BTW you should also consider the 400R imports, they are about the same price as a local RS but 5+ years newer. Of course that comes with the usual warnings about finding parts, unhelpful nissan dealers and finding insurance
