Battery light fliker

Hey all i was just wondering why my battery light might be flickin on n off ... Its happend 4 times on weekend . only for a few seconds and it goes away . The idle dies a lil too and sounds sik . Also noticed today on way home that HICACS light came on momentarly to ..

Ive done searches but found only reports of ppl changing Steering wheels and wheels n stuff and gettin problems .. I have done nothing of that sort and can only assume i could be having charing problems or i might need more steering fluid ?

Does any1 else know why the lights would come on ... Cheers

Alternator charging problem maybe? you would have to check the charge rate. But if it's flickering it might just be a dodgy connection. Check to make sure everything is plugged in correctly to the back of the alt.

thank u very muchly once this bloody weather goes away ill get out there and have a look ... if i still have problems ill do the HICAS diag test ... thank u for ur reply
