bent caster rod.

hey,

lastnight i ran up a gutter, not hard to imagen what i was doin ~~

but i pritty much need a new bumber n a set of casters... as my ft drivers side caster rod is shaped like a bannana.

i drove it home, steering is very bad obviously!

i just wanna kno if it is possible to install a new set myself and how difficult it would be. also what other possible damage could i have done...

jacked it up and that is the only thing that i could notice.

any advise is appreciated.

you might want to go and get it checked out because that might not be the only thing you bent. i did the same thing with mine awhile ago and i'm still trying to figure out why it wits higher on one side after changing alot of stuff

bent k frame??

its easy to do the rods. 2 nuts and a bolt.

I got a pair that need new bushes if you are interested.

but when you change them, they should go in without any force, if not then something else is bent. I put tein adjustable rods in mine to fix the problem.

who adjusted them for you.. because i have tein adjustables and maybe because there are not adjusted right which is some of my prob.

yea same thin happened to me and after replasing pretty much every thing i coul...the back of my my front lefty tyre still rubbgs on the front of my side skirt!

get teh castor set when getting an alignment. Best to take is to a good suspension place. Tell them you want heaps of castor without the tyres rubbing anything. I had mine set at 7 deg.
