old thread returns from the dead

check out some guys in perth called rage - radically altered gas equipment

they are doing direct injection systems for NA and forced cars

their Gen III conversion make 10% more power and only use 10% more fuel on lpg after a remap only

if I had a v8 i would be jumping on

sorry to drag up this old thread again!

bradkazz, i'm looking to put an rb25det into my r31 wagon, and run dedicated injected gas.

the hitch is, i'm after around 300kw @ wheels.

is this a possiblility?

oh, and did you ever get to upgrade your turbo on your r33, if so, what power did you make from it?

Unfortunately most of my time is being spent on customers cars, plus the skyline is my daily, so it's been on hold. 13.9s gets me to work. I have a new engine in my RX7 which should do 11 seconds, just finishing off the cooler piping.

The only problem with 300rwkw is the tank, they have an excess flow limiter. You may need to run two tanks.

sounds like fun. are there any complications with running two tanks?

if i'm removing the fuel tank underneath, and getting rid of the spare wheel well, i should be able to fit two under the back right?

might need to put a bashplate there or something tho. :)

G`day all you could look at the triple tank`s that are put on ford`s that hold about 90 litre`s,i have had a look at running this on my stagea s2,good luck.chuckie.

Apart from the cost there is no problem running two tanks. The triple tanks are all connected together and they only have one outlet, so unfortunately they don't help. Some may say I am ill informed about how to get the power out of a single tank, however I know exactly how to do it but the Australian Standards for LPG do not allow any modifications to high pressure components.

Hello All

Time to dig up an old one again.

I recently killed my LPG powered GTS by over reving, prior to this I got it up to 400rwhp with a GT35R. Sold after fitting new engine.

We never found a willing customer, so I now have a 96 R33 GTR and it's going on gas.
