Dump pipe to Cat

[R33S2]

Hi guys I have a R33S2 with a HKS style dump pipe fitted and a 4" cat back ehaust but a standard pipe in between.

Do I need to replace this with some thing bigger?

Will it increase performance or should I leave as is as it has 144kw already. :flamed:

nope the 3 inch front pipe is fine, you might want to relace the cat with a 3" or bigger hiflow.

because your going

3" dump -> 2.5" front pipe -> std 2.5" cat -> 4" cat back.

replace the parts thats restricting flow.

Get a front pipe to match up with the dump.

Try CES Racing for a full pipe.

Sell the dump pipe.

Or BATMBL who will do the full pipe, again, sell the dump pipe.

sorry to hijack. but i have a similar question

I am also in the market for a front pipe.. but i still have the stock dump pipe, so i was looking at just getting a turbo to cat in one sorta deal..

But i am in the process of putting an RB25det into my R32.... will i need a R33 or R32 pipe? or will i have to get some sort of custom deal?

pretty sure its a series 1 motor, and i have heard they use the same front pipe as an r32?

jsut need some confirmation
