Hi guys i was thinking of putting somthing like a 75HP shot of NOS on the GTR once the JUN plenum and 4'' exhaust are done. does any one have any experience with putting NOS on a GTR?

also what sort of gains did you or they get?

i'm thinking nos do to the great cooling aid that it is(hopefully get the inlet temps down to 20 or less).

also has anyone ran there GTR wich has low mounts on C16 with the car being tuned to C16.

Cheers. BEN

leewah had single t88 with nos and cranked 620rwkw and 10.4 (its on the homepage)

had a fair bit of work done to it, check out the for sale section and search for "leewah" youll find his gtr for sale in there, not sure if it still has the nos kit on it though

The setup is same old same old. Stick a single fogger just before the throttle body butterfly (i assume you are going a single throttle body conversion). Thats really all you need for a 75 shot. The better air distribution of the Jun Plenum overcomes the mixture variations between cylinders. Couldn't be easier.

determine your fuel pumps total flow capabillites. You need another 75hp worth of fuel flow at the very least. If there is plenty of room left in your present system then no you don't need another pump. You can always increase the size of one pump to cater as well.

A dedicated pump is a good idea once you go for a 200hp or above on say a direct port setup though.

Although I don't have any experience with NOS on a car exactly like yours I can tell you that if you have a true tuned 75 shot (not a set of off the shelf so-called 75hp jets) then imagine a 75hp increase in your present power curve instantly from the moment you add it all the way to redline. Thats what nitrous does. You get torque like a feight train. Pull your dyno graph out and add 75 hp to the curve all the way through and see if you like the picture.
