4WS R33 gtst

I have noticed that most of the R33 GTst's 4WS function is disabled after it comes to Australia. I read about it in the manual, it says that there is oil for it in the boot. But I cant find that thing in the boot. any idea why its removed? and how can we enable to 4WS?

Its called HICAS not 4ws, and they r not disabled when they come to aus

ok as far as I know there are two different type of HICAS AKA "4WS"

one machanical use of oils... old skyline like series one

electronical HICAS series two and on....

some of mofided cars gets them remove...

cuz they are sucks on high speed...

also it's prone to cause trouble on trackdays...

by removing make car lighter

Are you sure it's a Series 1 / Series 2 change? I always thought the R32 had mechanical, and the R33 was electrical.

and the R33 was electrical.

im kinda thinking the same as my r33 is eletronic.. im pretty sure its r32s with hydraulic HICAS

illegal i wouldnt think so????

just unplug it from the boot, unless you want to pull out the whole system? ....????..just unplug it.....??? i believe it is the silver metal box on the righthand side(the driverside) in the boot directly underneath the parcel shelf..you will see a plug going into it.
