How many kilometres do you do in a year?

I'm thinking of going onto a low usage insurance policy, as in the last year I've just done 8000kms...

So, for those of you who use their car for daily purposes or weekend warriors, how many kays do you do a year?

I was thinking the same thing. Ihave had my line 4 over a year and have only done just over 6000km.

Which insurance company were you looking at going with???

I got a quote from famous 4 $2000 for this kind of classic cover.

i am trying to keep the kms down but will probably put on around 14,000 - 16,000 i reckon

i've had my 'line since the start of august last year... it had 155,000km on it when i bought it... it now has 172,000km on it

I do around 400k's a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less... But if I am driving that distance, it's normally long distance travel to the coast and back.. not short city trips

When i used 2 drive my Skyline 2 work everyday i was racking up about 15,000kms per year.

Now i drive my shitbox 2 work most days & keep the liner mainly 4 weekend & short trips during the week & occasionally 2 work.

I am now on an 8,000kms per year policy ($90 something per month, can't complain) so i should be pretty safe with this, not 2 mention less wear & tear etc. also.

I am not voting I do less htan 5000kms a year, infact my last car, I did 4000kms in 2.5 years. Add another option and I will vote..

Work cars are boringly slow, but have advantages.. eg Free!!

the skyline is our only car, so we rack up a few kays in it;

got it 67k, up to 105 now and ive had it for just two years

saddens me to see so many ks going on, but on the flip side, i get to drive it heaps, so im happy as well

I've racked up about 90k in a bit over 2 years since buying my car.

I do over 1000k a week (52,000k a year) in my work van.

Add in another 200-300k on a weekend (average at 250 = 13,000k a year).

So around 65,000k a year driving... Damn... No wonder I'm fat.

I guess it would depend how many kays you drive each week.. No idea if you take the skyline out on the weekends, and do the "hey look at me" posing laps ect. I was surprised at how many kays I was doing just driving around on the weekend.

the GTI-R I did under 5000 a year. the soarer get's more like 10000, the GTR will only do around 5000 too.
