SkyGTRline
hmmm.... well, i drilled another hole... your prob not interested in doin so... but in the GTST there aint too much room for much, as i spose the GTR would not be any better. Above the Acc pedal and to the right, i made a hole... works well, just have to protect the cable from the firewall, so it aint wear throu and touch your + onto the chassis.. GTRsean
Been there done that. RHS of engine firewall behind the suspension tower is a triangular opening which is blocked with foam. You will need to undo two 10mm nuts that hold the vac booster reservior above the hole. Feed your wiring through the opening and stuff the foam back in there. Lay your cable down the side of you floor to the back. You have to pull out the rear seat and your plastic door sill protector. Hook it up and get the tunes cranking! Nugget_GTR
Cool that would be great. is there anything under the dash that i will need to removed to access it cause the other night i could not see where the wire would come out if i was to put it through the triangle bit. i could push it down but where does it go. i have alot of padding stuff lining up under the dash so i am guessing it is covering it in some way but looks like too much effort to remove it... and i dont want to go cutting it untill i know exactly where to do so. GM_GTR
that's what I did...I just used a bit of coathanger wire taped to the cable then I pushed it through the big rubber gromet, I went from underneath though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/65321-audio-question/#findComment-1222268 Share on other sites
SupaFly Skyline
that triangle bit goes into the wheel well, if your splash guards still there you wont see it, and it may be a bit hard to poke your wire through, but there is nothing in the way under the dash when it comes through Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/65321-audio-question/#findComment-1222540 Share on other sites

GM_GTR
Hi Nugget_GTR, underneath the backseats there are two clips, to unhook the clips you just pull the front part of the seat UPWARDS and the'll come off, then you pull the seat forward which will unhook two latches from behind the seat, the part of the seat where you sit on should now come out... Now you should see a couple of screws holding the other part of the seat, simply undo these then pull the seat upwards and it will come off... let me know if you get stuck Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/65321-audio-question/#findComment-1223065 Share on other sites
SupaFly Skyline
Also with the two clips at the front of the bottom of the seat, you may find it helps to push them backwards with a screw driver/wheel brace and pull up at the same time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/65321-audio-question/#findComment-1224372 Share on other sites

SkyGTRline
GTST might be diff... but with the clips, you pull them out wards (towards the front of the car) to black tabs... just pull. GTRsean
Then to get the back seat back rest off you have two 10mm bolts at the bottom corners. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/65321-audio-question/#findComment-1226663 Share on other sites
