HELP!! What does this light means?

This light is on and off recently, anyone know what it means??

and the oil pressure only stay at 2... whats happening??

yeah oil pressure it looks like, yours does seem low, mine usually hovers around 4 or 4.5

probably best to get a mechanic to check it

my oil pressure always sits at 2 when the car is warm, always has. is that bad O_O

It depends on what oil you re running...

When you run a higher viccosity oil it will always run lower pressure when warm...

For example...

running Mobil 1 you will run a lower pressure than with Motul 4100 Turbolight. then again you will run a lower pressure if you use Motul 8100V... the first and 3rd oils are full synthetic and the other one is semi...so this ALSO has an affect.

2 on the guage at idle is fine, its approximately 29PSI, however you want it to run about 40PSI when accelerating...

If light comes on, switch car off...no matter what.

The thickness of oil is not going to make a great deal of difference. Not to cause the light to come on anyway.

I'd be checking the oil level as a first step...

Check ur engine oil levels first... if it alright u might need to take it into a workshop to get it checkout

Id also check that the wire has a good connection, and its not coming loose, then connecting again. (if its that type of connection)

thanks guys... this problem is caused by low engine oil level... I've added more engine oil in and now the problem is solved :wassup:

after you have done the above and all seems to be ok ... check / replace the oil pressure sender (sensor) if it has one .. as it could be faulty ...

top up! as you dont want to loose oil it will severly damage ur engine and turbo!
