screw riding a bike to work, my next door neighbour had to all winter cos he crashed his car....

oh and the weather ain't all that bad here, i got on a plane here and off in brisbane and there was no difference...

actually the whole drive down to melb i think it was colder than tassie

Haha, difference was timmy, you probably left here in the middle of the arvo with the sun out, and arrived in bris with the sun down and a shit day. But there has hardly been a winter at all this year. every year it seems to be getting closer to being just one 12 month season.

You BIG girl Tim.

Nothing wrong with riding bikes, there just like cars and can be used in all weather conditions.

Its the rider that can't

I ride mine and the car is on the road (well most of the time) its easier and quicker to get to work, (and i can have more fun as well) less fuel consumption and i can park anywhere....

I love Tassie weather B)

    • Long time no see, I haven't posted since 14 years ago... To cut to the chase, R32 GTR. dead stock. Split wastegate hose = stock turbos were overboosting = front turbo's exhaust wheel has shattered. Have done a compression test following this and the results are (dry, cold) - 120 / 60 / 75 / 110 / 150 / 150. Haven't bothered with a wet test or leakdown test. The results definitely support front turbo failure (on 1-3) however the low compression on #4 is concerning too. Can anyone share their experience of when their turbine wheel shattered and damaged their motor - and what work needed to be done afterwards? Pistons? Rings? Valves? Throwing in the bin or salvageable? Motor is 100% stock. Will be getting it looked at further soon - I don't have a borescope and head hasn't come off (yet).
    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?
    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
